PackRounds

Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 August 2026

PackRounds is a booking and scheduling service operated by Anvil Road LLC. This policy explains what the service collects, why it holds it, and who else sees it.

Two kinds of people use PackRounds. A provider is a business that takes bookings. A client is someone who books with that business. A provider decides what she records about her own clients; PackRounds stores it for her and does not use it for anything else.

What we collect

Provider accounts

Email address, business name, booking page address, time zone, and — if she gives one — a mobile number for notifications. If she takes card payments, a Stripe account identifier.PackRounds never receives or stores her bank details.

Clients and bookings

Name, email address, and optionally a mobile number. Bookings record the service, the time, the price, and whether payment has been received.

Pets, animals and other dependents

Where a provider records who she is caring for, that includes a name, a role, and details she chooses to keep — for example breed, age, or temperament.

Client notes

Providers can record notes about a client to do their job: access instructions, routines, preferences, health and medical details. Some of this is sensitive by nature, and the service treats it that way.

Access codes and other secrets

A provider can store things like a gate code or an alarm code. These are encrypted before they are written down, are not readable by browsing the database, and every time one is revealed the service records who revealed it and when.

Usage and technical records

Sign-in events, and server logs that record what happened and when. Logs deliberately exclude sign-in codes, session tokens, payment secrets and access codes.

Why we hold it

  • To show a provider her day and let clients book her.
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders and changes.
  • To take and refund card payments where a provider uses them.
  • To keep the service secure and to investigate problems.

PackRounds does not sell personal information, and does not use client data for advertising.

Messages we send

Confirmations, reminders and booking changes are sent by email, and by text where that has been chosen. These are transactional messages about a specific booking.

Email is the default. Text messages are only sent to someone who chose them and gave a mobile number. Replying STOP to a text stops them; that choice is honoured by the messaging network as well as by PackRounds. A phone number on file is never treated on its own as permission to text.

Sign-in codes are separate. They are sent because someone asked to sign in, and are not a marketing preference.

Who else sees it

PackRounds uses other companies to run the service:

  • Stripe — card payments and payouts. Card numbers go to Stripe directly and are never held by PackRounds.
  • Hosting and database providers — to run the application and store its data.
  • Email and text message providers — to deliver the messages described above.

These companies act on instructions and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes. PackRounds may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept while a provider's account is open, because her history is the point of the product. Payment records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. A provider can delete a client, and deleting an account removes the data associated with it.

Your choices

  • Change how you are contacted, at any time, in your settings or when booking.
  • Ask for a copy of your information, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
  • If you are a client, the provider you booked with holds the notes about you. Contact her first; we will help if she cannot.

Children

PackRounds is for adults running or using a business. It is not directed at children.

Security

Data is separated by business, so one provider cannot read another's. Access codes and similar secrets are encrypted, and openings are recorded. No service can promise perfect security, and this one does not.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and providers are told.
