Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of PackRounds, operated by Anvil Road LLC. By creating an account you agree to them.
What PackRounds does
PackRounds gives a business a booking page, a calendar, a client record, and a way to take or record payment. It is a tool the business uses. It is not a party to the work. The agreement to walk a dog, sit a pet, or perform any other service is between the provider and her client.
Your account
- You must be able to enter into a contract, and give accurate information.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One business per account. Do not share sign-in access.
What you owe your clients
You decide what you record about your clients and their animals, and you are responsible for having the right to record it and for what you do with it. Keep access codes and similar details to the people who need them.
Subscription and billing
PackRounds is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance and are not refundable for a period already started, unless the law says otherwise. Cancelling stops future billing; your data stays available for the rest of the period you paid for.
Client payments
You choose how clients pay you when they book:
- Card at booking. Payments run through Stripe and go to your own connected account. PackRounds passes through Stripe's processing cost and does not add a commission.
- Directly with you. Clients book without a card and pay you however you arrange it. PackRounds records what you tell it and does not handle that money.
Refunds are yours to issue. Stripe does not return its original processing fee on a refund, so that cost stays with you. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Messages
PackRounds sends transactional messages about bookings by email and, where chosen, by text. You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details you enter for a client, and for having their agreement to be contacted. Do not use PackRounds to send marketing.
Acceptable use
Do not use PackRounds to break the law, to harass anyone, to send unsolicited messages, to attempt to reach another business's data, or to disrupt the service.
Availability
PackRounds is early software and is offered as it is. There is no uptime guarantee. Maintenance and outages will happen, and features may change.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and will explain why where we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Anvil Road LLC is not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
Material changes are notified to providers, and the date above changes.
Governing law and contact
