PackRounds · Software
Pet sitting software, from a tool built for walkers first
In short
PackRounds handles pet sitting. Drop in visits and overnight stays are set up for you the day you start, and so are cat visits. But the app was built for dog walkers first, so it is shaped around short repeat visits on a route. That fits most solo sitters well. It fits a boarding or daycare business badly, and we would rather say so here than after you pay.

What you get

Drop ins and overnights, ready to use
Your service list starts with 30 and 60 minute drop in visits, overnight sitting and a cat visit. Change the prices and the times, or add your own.

The day, in visit order
Today lists each visit in the order you do them. You see the pet, the address and the notes you need at the door. Feeding, meds and the key box.

Pet notes that stay put
Species, breed, weight, vet, allergies, meds and mood, on each pet. Home access notes stay locked until you open them, so a door code is not in a text thread.

Card payments and tips
Clients can pay by card when they book. That runs through Stripe, once your Stripe account is linked. They can add a tip too. Or they pay you directly and you mark it paid.

Reminders before the stay
A confirmation goes out by email. So does a reminder before the visit. Texts go out too, when a client has said yes to texts.

One booking page for all of it
Walks, drop ins and overnights sit on the same page, with your name and your prices. Clients pick and book. You do not quote by text.
The honest version first
Most pet sitting software is sold to companies. It comes with staff roles, GPS check in, report cards, bills and pay stubs. If you have six sitters on the road, you need that. If it is just you, you are paying for a control panel you never open.
PackRounds is the other kind. It is for one person. It does bookings, pets, payments and reminders, and it stops there.
What is set up on day one
Your service list starts with the work most solo sitters sell:
- Drop in visit, 30 minutes
- Drop in visit, 60 minutes
- Overnight pet sitting
- Cat drop in visit
- Dog walks, 20, 30 and 60 minutes
Change any price. Change any length. Delete what you do not sell. Add your own. Clients see the list on your booking page and pick from it.
Why it says dog walking on the box
The app was built for walkers first. That shapes it in ways worth knowing. It leans toward short visits that repeat. It opens on today, not on a month. It expects your clients to live near each other.
Most solo sitters work that way too, so the fit is good. If your week is mostly week long stays booked months out, a calendar first tool may suit you better.
The pet is the record
A sit lives or dies on detail. Which cat hides. Which dog cannot have chicken. Which pill goes in the morning. PackRounds keeps species, breed, weight, vet, allergies, meds and mood on each pet, and pinned notes on the home.
Door codes and key box notes are marked as home access and stay locked until you open them. They are not sitting in a text thread on a phone you might lose.
Money
Clients can pay by card when they book. That runs through Stripe, once your Stripe account is linked. They can add a tip at the same time. Or set your page so clients pay you directly, and mark it paid yourself.
PackRounds takes 0% of your bookings. There is no fee per booking and no cut. If a client pays by card, Stripe charges its own fee and we pass it through with nothing added. Pay direct and there is no card fee at all.
What it costs
Free covers up to 5 active clients and needs no card. Bookings and services are not capped. Unlimited clients is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year. A client is a home, not a pet. Two cats and a dog at one address is one client.
Where it will let you down
No GPS check in. No photo report cards. No staff logins or pay stubs. No bills or QuickBooks sync. No app to download yet, though it runs in the browser on your phone.
If a client is paying you for proof of location, or you have sitters to manage, buy a tool that does that. If you want less software, not more, start here.

Common questions
Does PackRounds do overnight pet sitting?
Yes. Overnight sitting is one of the services set up for you on day one, along with 30 and 60 minute drop in visits and a cat visit. You set your own price and length.
Is this pet sitting software or dog walking software?
Both, but it was built for walkers first. It is shaped around short repeat visits close together. Sitters who work that way do well on it. Boarding and daycare are a poor fit.
Can clients book a sit themselves?
Yes. You share one link. Clients pick a service and a time that is really open, and it lands on your calendar. You do not have to trade messages to agree a slot.
What does it cost?
Free costs nothing and needs no card. It covers up to 5 active clients, with no cap on bookings or services. Unlimited clients is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year.
Do you send report cards after a visit?
No. There is no visit report card and no photo upload yet. Clients get a booking confirmation and a reminder. Anything more, you send yourself.
